A word from our captain…
The Royal and Ancient Club of Dishonorable Golfers (RACDG) is a global society of golfers who respect and honor, contrary to our name, the origins of the game, including an appreciation for the architecturally significant golf courses. The first chapter was founded in Great Britain & Ireland in 2018, and our New York Metro chapter is one of a number of chapters in the US and across the globe. As a member of one you will have access to a network of golfers with whom to organize a round wherever you travel. The main objective is to get out and play great courses around the world while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow self-described “golf sickos” via friendly matches and more formal competitions throughout the year.
The NY Metro Chapter of the RACDG encompasses golfers of all skill levels from all over the tri-state area and beyond. We take pleasure in our local munis as much as the historically significant private courses in our region.
Our Societies motto is ‘Certus et Celer’ which is Latin for “firm and fast” and our Chapter motto is ‘Fire at Permanents’, which is a nod to playing golf whenever the weather allows.
Come launch ‘em with us!
